Questions

What is the cheapest way to host a Node.js or Python app that never sleeps?

On Droxin a small app runs from $2.50 a month, always on, with a database included and no usage fees. On Heroku the cheapest always-on dyno is $7/month (0.5 GB RAM) plus a database; Render starts at $7/month for 512 MB RAM; Railway bills usage with a $5 monthly minimum.

How much does 2 GB of RAM cost for a Node.js app?

At Droxin, $8.50/mo — 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 5 GB NVMe, database included. On Render a 1 CPU / 2 GB instance is $25/month before the database; on Heroku 1 GB RAM (Standard-2X) is $50/month. Prices as listed on each provider's pricing page on 1 November 2026.

Will my hosting price go up when I renew?

Not at Droxin: a renewal costs exactly what you ordered, paid monthly or yearly, with no multi-year prepayment. Many shared hosts show an intro price that needs years paid upfront — Hostinger's $3.49/month web-app plan is paid for 48 months and renews at $16.99/month.

When is Heroku, Render or Railway the better choice?

When you need Docker containers, autoscaling across many instances, preview environments for every pull request, or many services talking over a private network. For a single website, API, bot or SaaS backend, a fixed-price cPanel plan is usually simpler and cheaper.

What are the limits of Droxin hosting?

Apps run under cPanel (Phusion Passenger) with the CPU and RAM you choose as account limits on a managed server — not in Docker. You deploy with Git, SSH or the file manager, and long-running background workers depend on the plan. If you are not sure your app fits, ask before ordering.
